Our Recommended Resources for Blogging Full-Time

Creating a blog that generates your income is one of the toughest things to do. Believe me. It took me years to figure it out.

On this page, you'll find the tools and resources I wish I had when I was just starting.

Some of them are free, some are not. But they are all about the same thing...to help you succeed.

So let's check them out.

MY TOP 5 RESOURCES

These first 5 are the ones I cannot live without.

#1. Thrive Themes Membership

Thrive Themes offers a suite of WordPress resources. Including both themes and plugins. There are 10 themes and 8 plugins (and counting).

The themes are great. All my sites use a Thrive theme. Their plugins, however, are incredible. Especially Thrive Leads and Thrive Architect. They take lead generation and content creation to the next level.

Members are given unlimited access to everything Thrive offers. Including updates and future products.

#2. SiteGround Hosting

Web hosting is essential. It's how our sites are online. And SiteGround is one of the best in the biz. There's a hosting plan for all websites, big or small.

#3. ConvertKit

ConvertKit is our favourite email marketing tool. It's easy to setup an autoresponder, manage your email subscribers, and more.

There are several tools like it. But this is our #1 recommendation.

#4. SEMRush

SEMRush is the ultimate SEO and research tool. You can find keywords you can rank for, competitors' backlinks you can replicate, and a whole lot more.

There's also a feature where you can track your site's search analytics, which is helpful for things like audits.

#5. Canva

Canva is the ultimate image editing and creation tool. I use it to create every single featured image on all my blog posts. Its drag-and-drop feature makes it super quick and easy.

It also provides hundreds of free icons and stock images. And, you can create images of all sizes.
